With any digital marketing, we have to remember that we are appealing to two things.
First of all, people.
We want to engage and start conversations with people.
Second of all, the Machine.
Like it or not, if we don't let platforms like Google know where we are then we won't get noticed by people that we want to talk to.
This is why we favour YouTube.
It's owned by Google, they paid a measly 1.64 billion US dollars for it so they tend to like people using it.
After all, when was the last time you saw a Vimeo video come up in a Google search?
What I will say just before we finish is make sure you use YouTube correctly.
It can mean the difference between tens of thousands of views.
